Ian Rowe

An acknowledged authority in his field, Ian specialises in the integration of people and behaviour into systems.

Experience includes working in multi-discipline teams and advising on design and operational aspects for complex environments. These include stadia, railway stations, airports, tall buildings, multi-tenant buildings and green field sites.

Extensive consulting experience in the design and operation of event venues where crowd safety and evacuation performance is critical. With practical first hand experience, Ian is also the licensee for an annual UK music festival.

Ian has had papers published on emergency evacuation, slips, trips and falls and human factor integration into system design. He has also been invited to present at many conferences and courses including British Ergonomics Society, Railway Safety and Standards Planning College, The IEA World Ergonomics International Conference, The Applied Human Factors & Ergonomics International Conference, Cambridge University and Sidney University

Ian has worked on projects in the UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Continental Europe and the United States.

Accredited facilitator for a range of psychometric / behavioural profiling tools
